Jonathan Rennard
Regional Coordinator from University of Missouri-Columbia
Jon is a senior studying Agriculture Systems Management at the University of Missouri. He grew up in a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania playing varsity golf all four years of high school along with playing Philly Junior Tour and Gap Golf Events. He also competed in a US Junior Amatuer Qualifier along with a Missouri Amateur Open. Jon is the Secretary on the University of Missouri Club Golf Team. Jon worked for the Philly PGA for a summer and hopes to use those experiences to help the Central region continue to grow in Missouri and Kansas.
The Central Region was formed in the Spring of 2013 by Bill Donovan from the University of Missouri. The founding members of the Central Region included the University of Missouri, Southeast Missouri State, and St. Louis University. After initially containing some teams which are now apart of the Great Lakes Region, the Central Region is now made up of schools that are located in Missouri and Kansas. The Central Region is looking to add more schools over the next semesters to make it one of the bigger regions in the NCCGA. Central regional tournaments have been held at courses such as Adams Pointe (Blue Springs, MO), The Links at Dardenne (O'Fallon, MO), and Payne Stewart Golf Club (Branson, MO).
