Daily Schedule

Thursday April 21 & Friday April 22

Most teams will arrive on Thursday the 21st or Friday the 22nd. You can play practice rounds on both days, but the formal tournament will kickoff on Friday the 22nd at 5:00pm. 

Friday Schedule:

8am / 1:30pm shotgun on both courses for practice rounds.  All competitors will receive one free practice round on Friday at this year's National Championship.  An additional round will cost $50 per player.  Call the proshop to schedule your practice rounds.

5-8pm Registration and Kick-Off Party: Pre-Championship Registration, skill challenges (including longest drive, long putt, trick shots, wedge drills, and more), sponsor demo night, gift bag pick up, team pictures, and FREE pizza (provided by the AJGA).

Teams are on their own for Saturday night festivities. The Resort at Glade Springs has several restaurants on property.

* If you are flying, it is recommended not to book flights Sunday before 8pm. All Sunday tee times are based on Saturday performance (no exceptions will be made and the top teams will be in the final groups) and any weather delays could result in a later finishing time.  Any groups needing to leave early will receive double par for any unfinished holes.

About the Championship

The NCCGA National Championship is club golf’s staple event capping off each spring and fall season. Past national championship sites include Pinehurst, Firestone Country Club, Barefoot Golf Resort, TPC San Antonio, The Homestead and Sea Island just to name a few. Throughout the years, the fields have continued to grow. With 256 players geared up to compete at the Spring 2016 National Championship, excitement is building for a significant championship. 30 teams and 16 individuals representing over 49 colleges Nationwide will be competing. The 36-hole stroke-play event epitomizes the skill and determination of club golf teams and individual competitors. The National Championship highlights firsthand how much #ClubGolf loves this game.
